About Me:

I started my career in software engineering. Over the years I have worked in multiple technical individual contributor roles. In the latter part of my career I have focused on leadership roles on the business side whilst having elements of technology part of the role.

I have been managing people and teams for a large part of 10 years. In that time I have committed to learn and adapt my management style to perform the role to the best of my ability. In doing that I aim to provide the individuals with skills and career building support that caters to their goals.

I enjoy learning through listening to a variety of Audible books, observing other leaders and asking questions. The convenience of listening to books means I can consume more books and knowledge per year.

I decided to share my knowledge and tips wider through the writing of articles. I want to multiply the impact of my insights through the use of articles and this blog website. The articles are more direct and focused on actionable outcomes for people in various stages of their career.
